We are searching for our office in Bamberg for a:

Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/div)


  • Work closely with Software Development team on release and deployment of applications and application reliability and performance
  • Monitor and maintain our Rakuten DE Infrastructure such as MySQL, Kubernetes clusters, nginx, php-fpm, Redis, RabbitMQ, ELK, Prometheus,
  • Work closely with Database administration team maintaining Mysql servers ( backup, monitoring, updates, incidents, access management, optimization)
  • Work with Network teams on keeping datacenter connectivity and support on troubleshooting
  • Develop task automation scripts using scripting languages such as Bash, Python , etc


  • Experience in dealing with Kubernetes / Elastic Stack / Mysql and Linux scripting
  • Ideally fit in Prometheus, Ansible, Terraform , Unix Shell
  • Experience managing IP addresses, Domains, DNS entries, NAT entries, Firewall rules and SSL certificates
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as Azure
  • Excellent time and priority management abilities
  • Very strong problem solving/analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and listening, across several disciplines and organizational levels
  • Sound technical to business understanding
  • Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
